In what ways has Jacob helped you or others learn or grow this year?
Jacob helped me with the Sustainability Report. During that process he helped lead our group of three, with the help of Brian, to create a wonderful document.
Jacob has helped me better understand the ins and outs of Excel.
He has helped me to understand that I can create HTML documents to use as apps or tools.
Jake showed me how to use XLOOKUP in Excel instead of VLOOKUP and it has been much easier. He has also provided many reports tailored with the info most needed to get results quickly.
Jacob has been available to help on projects and reports. He asks great questions and is a great asset to Copper State.
Jacob has been a great help in teaching me how to use Excel. It has helped a lot and he is great at explaining not only the process but the reasoning behind it.
Jacob asks quality questions and works to present the information in the best manner possible. His work is allowing purchasing to identify and reduce freight in.
Jake has provided data that was hard or time consuming to gather in the past, in a very quick time frame.
Jake has provided insight into processes, systems, and software that I was not aware of, therefore helping me be more effective and more autonomous in my job role.
Jacob has been an invaluable resource to me and my team across several critical areas. He has supported us with essential reports that guided adjustments to coverage, including evaluating the removal of coverage for slow-turning inventory and optimizing for higher-turn inventory. Additionally, Jacob produced non-inventory lists that have been instrumental in helping us eliminate unnecessary stock. His efforts did not stop there, he also developed working templates that streamlined processes, creating efficiencies in both sales and quoting activities. His contributions have significantly improved our operational effectiveness and we greatly appreciate his proactive approach and dedication.
Jacob has assisted me in a multitude of ways this year. In efforts to consolidate this review, the largest way he contributed toward my success has been acclimating me to the CSBN team. Jacob was the driving force in assisting me in getting in touch with the appropriate people, as well as introducing me within the company. His efforts have strengthened my ability to succeed at CSBN both technically and culturally.
Jake has helped the department grow by creating reports to assist the supply chain team manage inventory, analyze freight expenses, and supplier spending.
Jacob has helped me find info about my customer much quicker than I would be able to do myself.
Has assisted with training others not in his direct role.

What could Jacob do to better support team learning and development?
Not sure, Jake does a lot and tries to take initiative a lot of the time.

I am not sure. I think that his role tends to be responsive and needs to react when called upon. I have not seen him fail in that regard.
Maybe a tips and tricks guide so we can learn some of the things he is able to do. He does a lot of things on a daily basis that we might only use a couple of times a year, but if we could reference something we may be able to do it for ourselves. Just an idea.
I would love Jacob's help at MFG with coordinating blank and finished goods stock analysis, as well as round bar min and max levels.
I do not work directly with Jacob but from the interactions I have had I am not sure there is anything that needs to improve.
Continue with continued communication and follow up whenever necessary.
No changes necessary, stay the course.
Based on my perspective, I do not believe Jacob would be an ideal resource for all regional managers when it comes to understanding and using Power BI. While Jacob has contributed in other areas, this specific aspect may require a more specialized approach or additional resources to ensure effective adoption and usage across the team.
Hard to say, he is already taking significant strides in assisting people with learning and development.
Work with the supply chain team to develop a standard format for turns analysis.
Jacob is doing a great job. I would love examples of other employees that are using his abilities the best to see if I can add any of his skills to my tool box of help.

What contribution from Jacob stood out the most to you this year?
Sustainability Report.
The 2024 sustainability report that was published this year.
Handling the API integrations for the Purchase Future State project.
His willingness to make himself available quickly for a variety of tasks and questions.
For me it was the personal training that he provided me with Excel. Other than that, the SIN report was very informative and easy to navigate.
Consolidation of freight in.
Jake's ability to quickly and effectively understand CSBN's needs for business reporting for sales and purchasing.
Help and insight into working with and creating AI agents.
I would say the inventory report that he has provided to the Phoenix team has helped us in several areas.
His ability to acclimate me to the CSBN team.
Jake's willingness to assist the team without hesitation. Jake is able to interpret requests with minimal additional information required. Usually a question or two at the most and he is able to complete the task.

What is one thing Jacob should continue doing next year?
Sustainability Report and data analysis for customer-specific work.
Posting the SIN report to SharePoint.
Sharing his knowledge and experience with others.
Making time to not just help but explain the how and why certain steps are needed or taken.
I think Jacob should continue to get the warehouse involved with surveys. I believe it could show insights to the average employee's experience within Copper State.
I cannot comment, I do not know all that Jacob works on in order to contribute accurately.
It would be beneficial to continue to learn all areas of CSBN to identify other reporting that may benefit other departments.

Not sure.
Documenting his processes to create BlueVolt courses.
Nothing comes to mind.
With the time I have spent with Jacob there is not anything that comes to mind regarding improvement.
I cannot comment, I do not know all that Jacob works on in order to contribute accurately.
Jacob has done a great job thus far. I could see a benefit to him pulling more individuals in on the team to see where he could be a resource for others as well.
Continue building out new hire helping forms.

Protect his time and the projects he is working on without allowing people in close proximity from dominating his time. Every employee sits in a branch, but, as a corporate resource, Jacob cannot let requests from employees in his branch take precedence over projects he is already committed to working on.
